Randall Rosenfeld and I began collaborating on manuscript pages back in the mid 1980s when I worked for the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Toronto. Indeed, I have Randall to thank for getting me interested in manuscript illumination in the first place. Randall is an expert on fifteenth-century scribal culture, and is affiliated with the Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies and Centre for Medieval Studies in the University of Toronto.
